![]() ![]() If you're playing as a human you'll have plenty of traits though. I'm not sure there's any point in taking summoning focus since the strongest summons are simulacrums (strength based on your character level), and I forget whether or not those are affected by that trait (detailed information about this game is hard to find). Lightning Spray is the best cost-efficient spell and will likely be the one you rely on the most in the game, unfortunately I think you have to go through vahnatai lands first to get that. Spellcraft and those elemental focus traits will give you a larger boost than increasing your intelligence or magic skills eventually. Also at the end of the game you'll face enemies that require you to hit them at least once with the demonslayer before you can damage them with anything else so this might help prevent you from whacking away at them hoping for the 5% hit. You can do 7 points in melee and 8 points in training instead if you really care about that extra skill point but 8 points in melee + 2 training will let you also put 10 points into hardiness (12 with training). This is probably not optional for a singleton. ![]() You're going to want to put 8 points into melee and use trainers to give yourself 7 points in melee/pole/bows/throwing eventually so you can get adrenaline rush. I always just ignore this skill though so I'm not sure. You can use nimble fingers and tinker's gloves to make up some of that requirement.Ĭave lore is probably around 11 I think. Tool use I think is somewhere around 12 too. ![]() I haven't gone around testing the AL requirements for every single spell though. You can make up for most of the arcane lore requirements with the sage lore trait and vahnatai lore I think. I think you need 12 arcane lore to get all the level 3 spells. Sorry, just realized you were playing the remakes. Energy is important, health is important, I've taken a few level of nimble fingers but am not sure what else I should be considering. Why take anything for combat that doesn't directly affect my magic damage when I'm relying on it for absolutely everything.Īlso wondering a bit about traits, I titter like a schoolgirl every time it lets me take summoning focus, but a tiny increase to damage or healing doesn't float my boat at all. Seems like I should just keep stacking magic levels until the game won't let me anymore. I'm also not sure what take anywhere else. Alchemy has always been the way I get past the huge demand for money in these games, but maybe with a singleton that won't be the same kind of problem (sure was in BOA though). I'd like to get cave lore but have to sacrifice somewhere. Level 3 spells are pretty much a requirement for the magic heavy character I'm going for, and I've put significant advancement into arcane lore, and just a little into tool use. I was hoping for some advice on how much cave lore/arcane lore/tool use I'll need to get the best rewards. ![]()
